According to Transparency International, Nigeria occupies the 31st place in the ranking of world corrupt countries.
According to Leadership, which refers to the Corruption Perceptions Index 2013 released by the organization, 177 countries are ranked, from most corrupt (index 0) to the least corrupt (index 100). Nigeria received 25 scores.
Best results go to Denmark, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, Netherlands, Australia, Canada (all above 80).
No African country got into the “best top” 17, however they dominate the “worst top” 10.
